Blaine Webster, B.Sc., P.Geo.,
President and Co-Founder

Blaine is an internationally respected geophysicist and a leading authority on the use of spectral induced polarization methods. Utilizing over 40 years of geophysical experience and a thorough understanding of a wide variety of geophysical methods including IP, EM, Magnetics and Gravity, Blaine has helped clients make numerous discoveries since JVX was founded in 1983. For nearly 30 years Blaine has been focused on building JVX into the go-to provider of geophysical services for the mineral exploration industry.

Blaine graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1971. Prior to founding JVX, Blaine worked for Inco Limited, first as a Field Geophysicist, and later as a Geophysicist in the Sudbury Basin. In 1979, Blaine became the Manager of Ground and Borehole Surveys for Scintrex Ltd. Blaine is also President of Goldeye Explorations Ltd. (ggy.v) a TSX-Venture listed junior resource company with projects in Canada and Chile.


Connie Webster, B.A., M.L.S.,
Vice President of Finance and Administration, Co-Founder

Connie is an experienced executive with extensive knowledge of the mineral exploration business. Her wide-ranging business skills have contributed to the ongoing success of JVX’s operations.

Connie Webster graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Master of Library Science (MLS) degree in 1970. She worked for 10 years as Librarian in the Field Exploration Department at Inco Limited, before relocating to Toronto and establishing JVX.  Connie formerly served in the role of Chief Financial Officer of Goldeye Explorations Ltd.







Robin Luke Webster, B.A. (Hon.),
Vice President of Business Development

Robin has 3 years of experience in the area of business development at JVX Ltd., and draws upon a lifetime of involvement in the company during his day-to-day role in directing JVX’s business strategy and marketing efforts.

As Vice President of Business Development, Robin is actively involved in bringing JVX’s leading-edge technology and services to the attention of a broad base of technical professionals and mining executives. Robin is also responsible for overseeing JVX’s safety program.

Robin studied economics and politics at Trent University, graduating with a B.A. (Hons.) in International Studies. As part of his degree, Robin completed intensive Arabic courses at the American University in Cairo.

Prior to obtaining his degree, Robin worked as a field assistant on numerous JVX field surveys, obtaining operational experience in IP and magnetics.
